Urban Recreation - LIDO

The project Urban Recreation photographically maps places of leisure within the urban topography of Bratislava. It creates a basis for a deeper reflection on the city’s memory and history. The series presents both iconic and forgotten sites where Bratislava’s residents go to rest and recharge. Many of these places are relatively neglected and overlooked, making them easy targets for development projects. The work documents how leisure time is spent in the capital—focusing especially on recreational spaces that remain largely invisible, and are therefore often destined to disappear.
